Bandl's ring/obstructed labour

Hi everyone. I was wondering if anyone had experience of a bandl's ring/obstructured labour with their first and what implications it had for your second labour. 
I'm 20weeks with my second and my first labour was very long resulting in an emergency c section due to failure to progress. When opened up they noted a bandl's ring as the cause for obstruction and struggled to get me back together again as I wasn't contracting properly. Both me and baby we're fine but I'm very nervous about having this baby and as yet no date to discuss with a consultant. 
Any experience/advice would be much appreciated, thank you.
