Bleeding after labour

I gave birth to my first baby on the 1eth December and had to have an episiotomy with alot of stitches so was very sore for the first couple of weeks.  This now doesn't hurt and the bleeding had stopped.  

Almost 3 weeks postpartum, I'm bleeding again quite heavily with tiny red clots (tmi sorry!)

As this is my first baby, I'm not sure if this is normal? It doesn't feel like my period as I've had no cramping or anything and the blood is not enough to soak a pad through as I've read about.  I feel fine in myself as well.

Just looking for some advice please!
