2cm dilated at sweep

Hello, I had my sweep today and the consultant told me I was 2cm dilated and she could feel the baby's head. Does this mean that I will go into labour soon? I'm really hoping it happens over the next few days!

    I had the same, but still took me another 10 days to go into labour - there's just no way of knowing! But good luck honey, life is gonna change forever, you must be so excited!

    I am dilated 2cm since 28weeks. My OB said nothing to worry (in my case). It can take ages. Fingers crossed your baby will come out soon x
