Bloody show/mucus plug?

Hi everyone!
I’m 40+4 and I just had sex with my boyfriend and I had a light pink coloured blob/creamy sort of thing came out straight away after. Looks like semen but a light pink colour with a tinge of yellow/orange.
Would this be my mucus plug or bloody show? Or just something that happens after sex?
Spoke to a midwife and they said it could be either and just have to wait and see! Just wondering if anyone else has had this?
