Body preparing for labour?

Im 35 weeks today, the past few days i have been having quite a few toilet clear outs. Ive also noticed a huge increase of braxton hicks, a few people have said to me that it sounds like my body is preparing for labour.

Im a FTM so not sure if its just a coincidence, does anyone have experience with this?

    Just adding to this post with it already having some info on it..

    Do these pictures look like my mucus plug coming away? The pinky one was Monday night and the other was earlier today. Im now 36 weeks xx

    Mine came away all in one go with my first and it was huge but that certainly does look like it’s starting to budge x

    @Lh8609 thank you! I feel so frustrated knowing im in slow labour, also feeling very uncomfortable with the pains that come with it😫xxx
