jus a enquiry ladies how often do contractions come as i wanna know jus in case i go into labour. and wanna make sure there not braxton hicks xx:roll:

    Think it's different for everyone, but according to my mw, real contractions will get more regular and intense as they go on and to go to hospital when they are consistently 5 - 3 mins apart.
    I've had a few false starts when 'contractions' have gone from every 45 mins (more or less, not exact to the minute), to every half hour to 10 mins to 5 mins. Just when i was excited and about to call the hospital, they started to go back the way and get further apart, so i knew they were just braxton hicks.
    Damn painful for so called 'practice' contractions though!image
