2nd sweep

Ok so im 41+2 and they gave me a 2nd sweep hoping to move things along. I had this done yesterday and im in so much pain now but they are all in my back and not regular. Has anyone else found this?? with the first sweep last week i felt nothing.

I had just one sweep with my first baby at 41 weeks and i had nothing, could i be in early labour this time or is it just normal?

    I had period type pains and pains in my back to begin with after my 2nd sweep and that was early labour. Like you mine wern't regular at that stage...Keep active, keep moving, if you have a birthing ball use that, i swear by them! With these pains being active will help to regulate contractions and dilate the cervix faster! Hope this is it for you! xxx
