Homebirths

Hi everyone just wondred if anyone had had a homebirth and how they found the expirience and how they know when is the right time too call the midwife out. I had my first child in hospital and had a good birth although it was long and am booked in for homebirth with my second which is due tomorow and cant wait as am so uncomftable and not getting any sleep! Also anyone got any ideas on how too get things going, have tryed curry, walking (but hard as have spd), raspberryleaf tea and sex (as much as i can with this belly in the way!) Am so tired now esspecialy with a 2 year old too run around after!
