Third round of clomid, any success stories? Getting discouraged.

Hello ladies, I just started my third round of clomid this month. My hubby had a sperm analysis done which was good and I had a progesterone test done and my levels are low. Although the first month of clomid on my day 21 progesteone test i read 28.95 which my doctor was inpressed with. We tried a year and a half on our own. The doctor decided clomid was our next option. I do ovulate every month on my own though. My periods are every 27 days and I get a positive on an opk on cycle day 13 every month. I am glad to finally have found some other women who I can relate to. I did have horrible side effects. Hot flashes, headaches, fatique. Hoping the third round works this... Just getting a little discouraged and need done success stories

    hi danielle, keep positive! I fell pregnant on clomid on my 2nd cycke and I have polysistic overies unfortunately I mc but I know it works !! I start clomid again in a few days. x

    I fell pregnant on round three, I felt exactly like you did. We were away in Crete or our third round, I was relaxed and so was hubby away from the stresses of work. We were enjoying each others company and after 18 months of trying enjoying the sex again, you know how it gets, feels like a means to an end. I was convinced it hadn't worked, so much so I was 5 days late before I realised and did that test!!!



    I'm now 32weeks and 2 days. Not long to go!

    How are you doing? As this is a very old post i would like to hear what happened?

    I am in same boat now. Trying since last year and on clomid cycle 3. Have pcos since 2012 and i am now 32 years old. After we tried and failed i was referred to fertility clinic. i was prescribed clomid.
    1st cycle 16mm follicle and progesterone 70 level but BFN.
    2nd cycle no monitiring and BFN
    3rd cycle right now on CD16. since started clomid periods is quite regular. OD is always on CD17 and get positive opk. Right now having Metformin thrice a day, clomid 50mg (CD2 - CD6) and sevan seas vitamin. this cycle i have started using Pre-seed.
    If i don't get BFP this cycle then next will be hyfosy scan for me and then they will decide what to do next. My husband SA is great and he is 36 now.

    My husband and I had been trying for 3 and half year before we saved up to see a fertility specialist. I have PCOS and barely ovulate and my DH has a serve triple defect in his sperm. So we booked in for IVF for November of this year. My doctor said while we wait for IVF we can try clomid, though our chances would still be very very low considering DH sperm analysis. First round of clomid I got pregnant. I was in such disbelief I took 5 different brands of pregnancy test ( I was crazy for sure). I'm now 9 weeks along. Miracles can happen!

    @Amanda92 congrats alot dear. thanks for letting me know. Hope for your healthy pregnancy.

    I am in my 3rd clomid round and this is coming as  a long cycle as i ovaluted on CD26. so don't know it can be helpful or not.
