Odd ovulation?!!

Hope someone can shed a bit of light!
Started taking Metformin 12 weeks ago (1000mg) due to PCOS. My last cycle was 35days after one of 72 days so thought the Met was fab!
I am on CD20 today and am unsure if I have ovulated yet. I had ewcm and cerv was show on day 12,13,14, we bd loads over this time as assumed was ov earlier. Normally 1-2days after ov my nipples are really sore for a day or two but so far nothing.
Could this be the Met has altered my hormone levels and possible symptoms after ovulation have changed or maybe I have not yet ov and am in for another massive long cycle?
Sorry for a long post but after a year TTC I am losing hope!
