Yet another problem :(

I have a internal ultrasound today (ouch!) it found a cyst on my right ovary.
The sonogrammer didn't tell me, but gave me my result form for my consultant and I had a peek and saw it.
It says
right ovary. 28mm x 20mm x 25mm, volume 7.3 ml Clearly seen, normal morphology, outline smooth
contains simple cyst 15mm x 16mm x 18mm, volume 2.3ml arising from medial wall of ovary

Any ideas??!! Not got another appointment with consultant til September. Xx

WWAF's right, simple cysts are quite common and harmless unless they are really big (which yours isn't). It's dermoid or complex cysts you have to be cautious about x

I would try and give your Gp a ring before September to see if they can shed any light. As the others have said I don't think it's anything to worry about and just sounds like any unreleased egg. Just one wouldn't be classed as pcos either so you should be ok xxx

I would call too, if you are unsure you must be able to get more information. September is a really long time to wait xx
