  • @ginajolly90 no clue lol from what i looked up its just where u eat rich fatty food before lent lol .......idk too much about that stuff

just got back from my appointment she gave me my blood work results n we chatted a bit about TTC and she was happy im doing everything the best i can....i told her im 3dpo and she said she looks forward to hearing from me in 10 days or sooner if i happen to get good news.....she says im veryyyy healthy which is surprising to her bc shes the first primary dr ive had in a longgg time (my parents were the u only need a dr if ur sick ppl) .....she says she see me getting my BFP real soon <3 and she wants me to call that day she said NOT to wait......plus i found out they have incentives for going to my pregnancy appointments like free diapers pacis bottles ect <3

  • u guys are the quietest on the days i have off lol
  • That's ok girl. Sometimes our bodies just need rest. Fat Tuesday is basically just indulging in whatever you're giving up for Lent so if you give up sugar you just go nuts on it, same w red meat or whatever. I did not participate lol.  My IF (intermittent fasting) is a daily 16 hour fast, 8 hour eating window. That's what works best for me, however there haven't been enough studies on it's affect on fertility. Some women stop menstruating if they aren't getting enough calories in that eating window. @ginajolly90
  • @PinkSnow410 i know when i wasnt eatting enough i wouldnt have periods for months......my sis is going thru that now
  • Yeah @catlady that's probably why some woman had issues with it. I definitely don't have that issue. 🤣 I love food
  • @PinkSnow410 thats good <3....where r u in ur cycle?
  • I'm CD 10. Should ov around the first @Catlady220
  • @PinkSnow410 i think its about time u get a bfp <3 im pretty sure the rest of us have had one..........what cycle is this for u??
  • I'm not sure the number but it's month 13 ttc. I pretty much always OV between CD 13-16
  • @PinkSnow410 awe :( have u guys seen fertility specialist yet?

@PinkSnow410 sorry Hun no advice regarding ttc. But she is putting me on a higher protein ‘diet’. I already eat so much fruit and veg and I eat carbs but only usually in one of my meals not all. So I just need to up protein she said. I’ve just signed up to 2 sessions a week. Going to try that for a couple of months then reassess.

fat Tuesday sounds like it had the same idea of pancake day but much better!😍!

@ginajolly90 haha the thought was there! That’s what matters ha.

    @Catlady220 I haven’t had a BFP 🙁.
  • @PinkSnow410 do you do the fasting every day? I had a go a bit last week, but then got fed up and thought nothing is gonna help me to ovulate 😭
  • @SR19 oh :( but u have seen a specialist right??? are they doing anything to assist in the process
  • Yes I fast from 6pm till 10 am the next day. Sometimes family dinners or life gets in the way, but I try to sta6in my eating window. I've done this since September. I lost 10 lbs and have kept it off.  I feel very healthy and no longer eat out if boredom. @Aliciab90 but there aren't enough studies on IF and ttc. So I may be causing more issues for myself 🤷 I need to live my life.

@sr19 I know you haven't had a bfp either but I think we have the same issues.

@Catlady220 everything with me is fine. I'm not seeing a specialist as neither of us wants to pay for iui or invitro. Too expensive and we don't want to go that route. I'm hoping if we don't have success soon DH will go for testing but idk what if anything we'd do then. He's working on his weight and developing better habit's for his health. Maybe that will be enough. 🤷
  • @Catlady220 I just feel like I’m constantly waiting. I have a docs appointment 2nd week in March to talk about results of tests which were all fine for me. And will then refer us for consultation at the clinic as far as I know. But from what I’ve heard/read people say the wait for consultation can be between a couple of weeks to months so... 🤷🏻‍♀️.

in an ideal world they’ll refer us for ivf and it’ll work first time.  But life has never been easy for me so I’m preempting obstacles I may come across. Like time, and weight.

@PinkSnow410 they can give him vits and stuff to boost his sperm <3 and i ment to see if there was a reason y u arent conceiving .....

this TWW is already starting out VERY different for me.....im noticing a dull light pain where my left ovary is? normally i get ov pains before but ive never had light pain there afterward.....like i barely notice it but just enough to know its there?....maybe it could be a sore pelvic muscle bc i was semi-constipated yesterday? which is also new...
  • @SR19 baby steps hun <3 the bfp will be SOOOO worth it <3
  • i also have more cm than usual this tww :/
  • @PinkSnow410 I have everything crossed for you and I think when you least expect it you will get your BFP! It’s always good to improve your health, ttc or not so you losing 10lbs and your OH changing his habits are a bonus all around.

I found that having tests done have helped me because i now understand our bodies rather than be mad about things and disappointed every month.  I think it’s good to have an answer even if it wasn’t the one we had hoped for.

I always remind myself of this....

We all have plenty of time left 😘
  • @Catlady220 he already takes vitamins to boost his sperm and I've had every thing checked, everything is good on my end.  I hope the new symptoms are promising but it could just be how things are now since you've mc... I hear it changes things. Fingers crossed

@sr19 that's a great reminder! I love it. I'm very ok with things rn... Having all these littles to care for and the newborn definitely helps with the perspective. Yes I Def hope for my own, but I'm enjoying coming home to a quiet, clean house and getting a full night's sleep.
