So im 27 and stopped taking birth control (pill) in Aug 2019. Its been 9 months and I havent had a period or gotten pregnant. I did spot once maybe 3 moths ago. What could be wrong? Suggestions please !

    It's impossible to say as there are a number of reasons why you may not have had a period yet. It does take a while for your cycles to settle when you come off of birth control but 9 months is a very long time. Have you spoken to a GP? I'd probably ask for an appointment just to talk it through and see what they think.

    Thank you. Yes, im making an appt soon but with everything happening I’ve held off.

    I used to be completely regular and then 5 months ago my periods stopped. After some tests we found out I have polycystic ovary syndrome.

    I was diagnosed during lockdown so it's worth asking your doctor x
