Description of ectopic pain please...
Hi girls,
I would appreciate it if anyone is comfortable giving me some information on this.
I'm not convinced I have an ectopic pregnancy or anything...Just I have some aches in my back. I am 4+2 today.
I believe with ectopic you can get referred pain to your shoulder, and just wanted more info on type of pain (dull, sharp, ache), and exact place. Also how far along were you?
Thanks a lot. xx

It was the shoulder tip pain I was interested in, covered by that site. All my aches are in my back, and are not enough to take painkillers for.
Thanks again. xx
I'm actually not stressed, other than having had the mmc last time. I didn't have as many aches as this the last time, so I'm actually hoping it's a more positive thing. xx
Don't really have any advice just saw the post and wanted to send a reassuring hug!
Love Rena xx
I recently had an ectopic - shoulder pain is quite acute, constant - you notice it as it seems to be in a strange place (!) literally just on top of your shoulders - the other place is lower abdomen pain- can feel tender especially on one side - for me this started 7 weeks+ haven;t heard of back pain as being an issue - hope that helps a bit - am keeping everything crossed for you

Have dr appointment on Tuesday to register pg, and will ask. Am hoping to get NHS early scan if I can anyway.
Thanks everyone for your replies. Very much appreciated. xx
Just wanted to say good luck with Drs on Tues,(if it helps, when I pushed my right side it really hurt (!)
have you had any bleeding? it is as described like 'prune juice'
everyone is different and I know its difficult not to worry but you are doing the right thing and hopefully your Dr will send you for a scan - mine sent me the following day as I'd been bleeding for 2.5 weeks so they take it seriously
I hope its all ok, will keep all crossed

No actual bleeding, but had pink cm twice today, then the next time went to loo it was normal again.
It is a comfort to know it should be painful to press on, as mine really isn't! xx
