Pregnancy success after medical miscarriage

Hi, I'm new on the site so unsure how it works but any advice would be greatly appreciated. 3 weeks ago I found out that I was pregnant second time after our perfect little boy who is now 2 and a half. After bleeding for a week, today it has been confirmed I have had a missed miscarriage. The scan showed a sac at 6 weeks pregnant with no foetal pole or yolk sack. I have been booked in for a medical miscarriage at the hospital on Friday in which I will take some tablets and a pessary to 'kick start' the miscarriage. Does anybody have a similar story? How did the procedure go? What should i expect? And have you managed to conceive quickly or at all afterwards? So many questions! Thanks for the support, Helena
