Miscarriage advice please!!

So, as in previous posts Iv had a miscarriage, the doctor removed the sac in. Hospital by forceps as she could see it, but she never told me what to expect told me I should have little clots and basically period likelike. ivt iv been in pain today and passed a bigger clot.. Felt a massive sense of relief and it's eased the cramping, is this normal? I'm going doctors tomorrow cos I'm not happy about everything but wanted some reassurance
