Potential ectopic

so I had my period between the 15th - 23rd August, I’m every 28 days. I found out 4 days ago I was pregnant, had some cramping came into hospital they did bloods and a scan on Monday my hcg was 11000 but only a fluid sac on the scan showed up, I had my bloods repeated last night and they came back 16000 but they’re saying possible ectopic, im waiting on my results now from today’s hcg, has anyone been through this
