Positive test after miscarriage

I've heard people experience this before ,last time I had a miscarriage I bled and after a day had appointment at epu they confirmed my pregnancy test was negative.  This time I've been bleeding from Thursday evening now sat evening and it's still giving me a positive result ,I'm in no way having any hope but I want it all to come out naturally and wondered what the difference is from last miscarriage to this one
