TMI Pelvic Floor

Sorry guys maybe tmi but did an aerobics dvd this morn had connor nearly 9 weeks ago and when jumping around the room i realised i was wet arrghhh so embarrassing does anyone know how long it takes for pelvic floor to return back to normal and birth?

    think it depends on how often and how good you are at doing your p/f exercises, some never go back right i've heard

    ive got a cold and sneezing is a nightmare, Holly was 9 weeks yesterday, im hoping mine will get back to normal soon!!!

    they do tell you now not to do this anymore but...

    when you are going for a wee, stop mid stream. that is you working your pelvic floor muscles.

    if you do this when you're not weeing, i do quick repetitions up to 100, and then ten lots of doing 1 and holding it to the count of ten. LO is 8 weeks and mine seem back to normal x

    Do them, do then, do them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously ladies the benefits are huge. No bladder weakness, complete peace of mind to sneeze, cough, laugh without feeling you should cross your legs first and they are great for your sex life too yippee!!! If you don't feel like things are great by 16wks max after the birth go to your GP and he/she may refer to a specialist physio for help.
