Hydrocele

Anyone else's lo had a hydrocele operation?! My lo had one since he was born which the drs said would go down in a couple of months but instead it's just got bigger. He's now been referred to the urologist and I'd like to know if anyone had any experience of this?

    Not a hydrocele op but my eldest son 'lost' a teste at 6 month old - he def had 2 at birth but one disappeared. He had a laproscopy (sp?) op when 2yr4month and they removed a mass.
    If they do want to operate, I'd suggest havin it done at earliest opportunity as he couldn't go on ride-on toys for 6week or so - a nightmare!
    Hope they sort it out soon x
