Allergic to eggs
Hi,
I can't remember who it was but I am sure one of the Dec los is allergic to eggs? I have been reading up on the MMR stuff and came across this which I thought may be worth knowing about:-
"Protein relating to egg is used when making the MMR vaccine. If there is a history of confirmed anaphylactic reaction to egg-containing food, paediatric advice should be sought with a view to immunisation under controlled conditions such as admission to hospital as a day case.
Tell your Doctor or Practice Nurse, and they can make special arrangements to give your child the vaccine safely."
