Morning ladies.

We're taking our LO away for the first time shortly and I've been trying to decide what to buy to try and deter the Mozzies.... I know she's too young for anything with Deet in so have been looking at non-chemical options and these seem to be the only 2...

Little buzzy ladybird thing

or patches with natural oils in

Has anyone got any experience of either of these and would you recommend them (or anything else!?)

Thanks girls

Ps - we've got a mozzie net for the pram and cot but I'm just trying to cover all the bases!!

  • hiya, our friend lent us their ladybird thing when we went to france when Josh was around 9 months, we just clipped it onto the pram, hard to know if it worked but i dont think he got bitten :P
we also used those sticker things around the place we were staying in which are meant to deter the bugs. They seemed to work quite well.
Have you thought of taking some citronella candles with you?
Also I guess to be on the safe side take something to put on the bites to soothe them just in case she does get bitten.
Where abouts are you going if you dont mind me asking?
  • meant to add if shes near you most of the time and your covered in spray hopefully they will stay away from her aswell!
Hope you have a great holiday x
