My New Arrival
Well girls, after all my moaning and groaning at being overdue, I gave birth to my lovely baby Jasper on Saturday morning.
I think the reflexology I had did the trick as I started getting strong braxton hicks not long after and when midwife came to do sweep I was already about 3-4cm dilated.
As soon as I got to the hospital my waters went and labour was going well, so I had an epidural. Unfortunately that slowed everything down and after 14 hours they offered me a c-section as he was back to back and I was still only 8cm.
I went for the c-section and am so glad I did as it turned out that he weighed 9lb 7oz!
We're home now and he is doing great. I'm taking it easy and trying to recover from the section as best I can.
Thank you to everyone who listened to me ranting in those weeks before he arrived!
