When do we officially start our 2nd Trimester???

well I am confused!!!
I googled lots last night and every site had a different view on this, the main three being it started week 12, 13 and 14???
I am so confused???
I will be in my 12 week next week and was excited about hitting that 2nd trimester milestone but now it looks like that could be wrong???
Does anyone know the actual start date for your 2nd trimester???
