Time for a name thread?

Hey ladies. Well I have been getting very excited thinking about names. What are your ideas?

For a boy our chosen name is Flynn. I am so pleased hubby has come round to this idea! I wanted to call DS Finn but he hated it. We both think Flynn is a little different and not too popular.

I need to think of a middle name as DS has one and I'd like them both to have one.

Girls names are tricky! So far on my short list

Anais

Adele

Annalise

Isabelle

Eloise

Jasmine

Evangeline

Naomi

Isabelle was our fave but it has got really really popular. Adele was always my favourite but I'm worried it will become popular thanks to the singer... I love Anais but I'm worried about people struggling to pronounce it.

  • We still have our boys name from last time round- which is Jack with Lewis for the middle name.

For a girl I LOVE Darcey- hubby needs convincing but I think I can do it. Also quite like Teagan (its a bit different) x
  • Hi love the name threads

we only have one name for a boy which is Theo and probably william for a middle name

    for girls we have

    Ava

    Eva

    Mia

    Poppy

    Anna

Tinks i love isabelle too but DS is called jacob and thats become so popular dont want another twilight character doing the same

mummy2grace i love jack too but jack and jacob is too close so we have settled on theo , i like matthew and samuel but hubby hates both xxx
  • We are completely stuck for any boys names that we like.

For a girl we like either

    Anna or

    Lilli-Anna

We are leaning towards Anna though.

We will be totally stuck if its a boy in there.
  • Love name threads!

Me and hubby can't agree on anything! So glad we have a good few months to fight it out!

I'm a teacher so loads of names are ruled out straight away!

Girls names are easier than boys I think.

I like Ethan, Finn and Charlie for boys (names I've never taught!!)

And Charlotte, Annabelle, Katie and Nyah for girls.

Will need to do some serious persuasion to get hubby onto those names! He likes Ethan but not the others. How did u do it?? Any tips welcome!
  • Phat_sue I find persistence is key lol. I'm currently wearing down hubby on my forks name I just keep saying how much I love it and saying it out loud lol. You're the one giving birth, remind him of that often lol x
  • Hi All,

If our dD was a boy she was going to be called Jake, but as it's so popular now, we're going to go for Blake now which we both prefer. The middle name will m ost prob be Carter.

If it's a girl we like Maddison. I also like Paige but hubby needs convincing on that one. Not sure of a middle name yet.

My dd's middle name is Hope and I wish we'd kept that now as I want to use it as a first name if we have another girl...hubby thinks it's a stupid idea though!

I know a girl called Maria Claire and her sis is Claire Maria and their mum is called Maria too...it's not as stupid as that!!

    xxx
  • for a girl we have Lola Autumn and for a boy Dylan not sure on a middle name, dd is Isabella Sophia x
  • ooo i love baby names! me and hubby have agreed on names but now im concerned by popularity of them! for a boy we like oliver, but is number 1 name, and sophia for a girl. not entirely decided on middle names but i like thomas and erin. such a dilema! x
  • We have a Haiden Elise

For a boy I think we are going for Theo Nathaniel, for a girl Anya ...something. I like Faith and Rosalie (my Forks name!) but OH not keen x
