Had some sad news from a friend
I just want to hold my kids close to me today!
A girl who was in Josephs class went back to UK last year due to needing chemeo for a tumour in her abdomonen. Anyway, she recovered well but only came back here for a quick visit. The cancer returned just after Xmas and the arrival of the parents 2nd child, a boy. They have just emailed the class to say that their daughter only has days/weeks to live.
She is just 6!
I cannot imagine the heartache of losing a child. To have the joy of delivering a little boy and then have to say goodbye to your daughter within months of each other is just unimaginable!
Joseph is the same age and I just look at him and feel a huge sense of grief for her poor parents and family.
Such a sad world we live in. (

The poor family, that poor little girl. It's unimaginable the heartache they must be going through.
Makes me appreciate how lucky I am.
My thoughts to the family xx
will be thinking of them. xxxx
Why let her go through 2 yrs of pain and ops nd chemeo to then let her die anyway. IF there is a god I sometimes think he is very cruel.

it is true that things like this make u question everything, it is too cruel and makes no sense.
I will hold my kids closer to me and appreciate them a hell of a lot more... x
