period help please?

hi ladies,

I hope that you dont mind me gatecrashing from 'june 09' but I wanted to ask some advice if possible?

My lo is 10 weeks old tomorrow and I still havent had a period! (should I panic?)

I know that it takes time but im starting to worry image

I had a bleed which lasted for a day a few weeks ago and I had a few cramps with it but nothing since - not even any sign.

do you think that this is normal??

    Hiya yeah its perfectly normal especially if you're breastfeeding. I breastfed my daughter for 12weeks and didn't get a period till she was7mths old. With my new baby I had him at the end of April and breastfed for 6 wks and had my first period 7 wks ago and haven't had one since. Think it takes a while for your body t get back in a routine againx

    Yeah it's normal. Jay is 16 weeks old and I had my first period when he was 13 weeks.x

    morgans 16weeks and no sign of mine !! im still breastfeeding x

    Hun its fine it took 3mths after I'd finished breastfeeding with my first and 9wks after with my new LO xx
