Baby first aid box

At the risk of sounding like a hypochondriac I got a first aid box together before my DD's arrival last year & it has proved invaluable.

I'm sure hubby thought I was being a tad over precautious but you can guarantee bubs will come down with something at 11pm on a Saturday night & your buggered!

I know some might have been covered in our fab baby list but heres my list feel free to add:



Infacol/Coleif

Dentinox - for cradle cap

Nasosol/Calpol nasal spray - only things you can give to babies under 2 mths (I found this out the stressful way!)

Calpol - from 2 months

Nurofen - from 3 months (ibupfrofen, seems better at dealing with dreaded teething)

Calpol vapour plug

Digital ear thermometer

Bonjela

Metonium/Drapolene (Sudocrem didn't touch my DD's nappy rash)

Gripe water

Benylin Cough Syrup (from 3 mth I think!)

Bepanthen - preventative measure for nappy rash



Oh, and for yourself throw in:

Arnica - for bruising

Strong painkillers - for afterpains (or heroin lol!!)

Iron tablets - for Anemia & blood loss (sorry!)

Berocca - for generally feeling like a stamped on toad!
