6 days over - being 'swept' this afteroon!

Well, still here miserable as ever!

Having my first sweep today after lunch & have to say i'm well scared - more so than of labour itself!!!

Baby feels so low down that I have a feeling it is just going to kill.

I presume I will be given an induction date but not sure.

I'm just hoping that as i'm almost 41 weeks everything will be otherwise 'favourable' & my wait will soon be over.

    Good luck hunni, try to be as relaxed as possible when they sweep you if you're tense it'll hurt more.

    Ooh good luck hun!! Once she has done it, do not sit down!! Keep on your feet and stay as active as possible. Fingers crossed!! xx

    Y'know, I just found it really uncomfortable, had a MW exam last night (long story) and she poked bubs head and that hurt WAY more! Couldn't sit down after! My sweep I guess I was prepared for and not cramping so I just relaxed myself.



    Tell you this, my plug has certainly gone so it did something! Good luck hope it goes as well for you (but, y'know, with a baby at the end of it image )
