  • Hiya!

Couldn't have managed without breast pump, bouncy chair, endless bibs and muslins, monitor

Wish I'd bought sooner - sling, electric breast pump!

    Never used - cot mobile

Should have researched prams better - bought a M and P pramette and have ended up buying a Loola off ebay as the M and P didn't do everything I'd hoped

Think a lot of it's personal choice really thou hun!

  • Things we couldn't live without are:

    bouncer
swaddle miracle thing (especially as it now means we get sleep)
    angelcare monitor
    long sleeve bodysuits
loads and loads of baby wipes
more size 2 nappies than 1 (we gave loads of size 1 away)
fisher price jungle gym (he loves this)
light lullaby show (this tells him its night time)
tummy tub (fantastic thing, means i can bath him on my own)

    Hope this helps.

  • Hi there,

    things I couldn't live without

    - electric breast pump (medela swing)
    - playgym (Gymini Tiny love)
    - sling (also bought a BabyBjoern but don't use it at all)
    - sleep sheep / white noise machine
    - swaddlers (just started swaddling her again as she has a conjunctivitis and would scratch her eyes all the time)
    - weleda babycare range (has worked wonders on every sore bum so far)
    - wrap front long sleeved body suits (actually not too many as I only had 5 that I loved and washed over and over again, all others are still unused in the wardrobe)
    - Lamaze toys (Jacques the peacock)
    - Alphabet numbers coloured soft play mats (for naked playtime)
    - Lansinoh or purelan (nipple cream)
    - Small tie handle bags (Asda) for nappies
    - 3 very soft blankets
    - endless muslins

    think that is it!!
  • sleeping bags my lo wriggles so much I can't keep blankets on her.
  • muslins - tons of!
sleeping bags - these were a real turn around for us
    tiny love activity gym
JUMPEROOO - for when they are abit older

Will think abit more and see

Glad you are doing ok hun x
  • muslins, sleeping bags as well Brilliant!!!!
I know some people think that they are a waste of money but I couldnt live without mine is my nappy bin!
  • I agree about the nappy bin!
I think everyone's got everything covered, but I'd definitely loudly recommend a sling! When Jak was about a month old he really struggled to nap, he'd got quite bad wind and he just wanted to sleep on me. He would go in the sling and sleep against my chest, which was brilliant because he got the closeness he wanted and I could get on with things. Now he just loves looking round when I take him out for a walk in it, it's been totally worth the money.

Can I just add - so glad you're still keeping us updated, I hope it's all going well hun x x x
  • Nappy bin!!! There's been one rolling round the boot of my car for 8 months - a friend lent it to me and and OH and I just couldn't see the point and so it didn't even get house room !! Oops, maybe we should have given it a go!
