Hi ladies and babies

We are going on holiday next week, just in this country and it will be the first time we have been away with DD. Im really excited about getting away but also worrying about the amount of stuff we are gonna have to take with us!!

Have any of you been away yet and how was it?
How did LO manage out of home environment?

    i took phoebe away for a night when she was 4months old, i was dreading it but amazingly she slept fine! i took the sheet that she had been sleeping on off her cot and put it on the travel cot so she had a familiar smell, thats my advice!

    We took Seth to Wales to see Luc86 and DD in Feb when DS was about 4 months old. He wasnt sleeping through then anyway so his sleep pattern didnt really get effected. It was a 5 hour journey in the car and he slept most of it, we just stopped for bottles and breaks etc. He was fine when we got there, just naps and things were out of sync so he got a bit grumpy but settled back into our routine when we got home.
