Pre School

Hi everyone. I was just wondering what your plans are for pre schools? I was chatting to a friend about it and she said i should be looking arouind now as im planning to send Grace when she is two as i would like her to have interaction with other children (im very lucky in that my mum will be looking after her when i go back to work next week.) Im thinking of mayby just sending her for two mornings or afternoons per week. I phoned them up and the women was surprised that i had left it this late!!! Anyway am going to visit one tomorrow morning am hoping i like it as its suppose to be the best one in the area.

Are you planning on sdending your LOs to pre school and is so what age do you think you will do this?
Also does anyone have any ideas on some questions i should be asking?

  • Hi Hun,
I'm not entirely sure but I always thought pre-school started when they were aged 3??

I'm a SAHM but will be putting DD into private nursery for 1 day a week in the New Year purely because it will be great for her to socialise.
Have you thought about maybe doing that until preschool? x
  • I am also a SAHM, and we have a local playshcool which is from 2 yrs old but i think they have to be potty trained. I will be sending Seth there for maybe a few mornings a week at some point but not spoken to them about it yet, I guess i should soon do it. Sx
  • aww no! i dont want to be thinking about our little babies going to pre-school yet!!! image

i take pheebs up to a little nursery/preschool where the mums can sit and hang out too so she gets her socialising, and i get mine! image

honestly havent spared a thought about anything like that yet! is that bad?! lol
  • Don't - this really stresses me out - people keep telling me I need to get H down for a pre school - but I don't know which one - it depends which school he is going to go to - and how can I decide that now - the best school in the village might be rubbish in three years when he is ready to go !!!!
