New job and potential pregnancy?
Guys I'm pondering my new situation
I'm starting a new job in the next couple of weeks. It's a maternity cover so only for a year (it's 3 days a week).
What would happen if I get pregnant on that job, as the contract is only for a year?
1. What would happen if I get pregnant and my due date is within my year contract?
2. What would happen if I fall pregnant and my due date is after my contract has finished?
Any ideas anyone? I want no2 soon but this was the only decent job I could find and so had to go with it. Not sure if I now have to wait years untill this finishes and I can get to a full time job on a longer contract before getting pregnant again. Ohhh that would kill me!!

I can't really help as I think it depends on the indiviudal company. You'd be best to either check your company policies or with HR as they can advise you.
