OUCH!! contractions
been contracting regulary since 3pm 2day. still at home as waters not broke yet and im not in complete agony yet but slowly getting there. lasting about 40 sec. so nearly there.

My midwife said you don't necessarily need to wait until they are really awful pain wise - its more about the frequency and duration. Apparently (depending on how far you are from the hospital etc) should be about 5 minutes apart and lasting 60 seconds or so.
