strange blood results

Hi Ladies, had to go to the mw today as they rang and said my 28 week bloods had strange results. I had antibodies C&D in my blood which they weren't expecting. The mw said she didn't know what it meant but that they had to send a sample off to London to get it checked. I am rhesus negative but I chose not to have the anti-D injection so I don't really know why I've got this. Anyone else ever had this or know what it means? xxx

    The anti D injection is to prevent rhesus negatve mothers from making the "D" antibodies. There isnt an anti C injection. Once you have the D antibodies you cant get rid of them by having the ijection.
