getting pregnant on methotrexate?

hi,my partner takes methotrexate for his arthritis,his doc told him he'd have to come off it for at lest 3 months before we try,but my doc said as he's taking it it's not a worry unless it was me taking it.he can't come off it as he would have an attack and be off work so was just wondering if anyone had a baby while either partner had been taking it?app after googling for days...thers no proof it can harm or deform the baby its the company covering themselves,just really confused was hoping someone on here knows what i'm going on about!!thanks image :?

    just seen your post so thought i would reply.

    I was given methotrexate to treat an ectopic pregnancy, i was told by the specialist not to begin ttc again for 3 months because if i did get pregnant they would advise terminating the pregnancy because of the damage it does to the baby. I dont know if this is the case for if a partner is taking it, best to take the advice of his specialist. x
