im 40 weeks come monday, if nothing happening by then I'm booked in for 8am to be induced.



Has alot can image I would rather the baby come this weekend begetting induced.



Has anyone been induced? what was your experiences?

    I was induced at 37 weeks and ended up with a c section. My consultant warned me of this. He said under 39 weeks the cervix just isnt ready and this can happen. After this he said induction just pushes the body along and normally the cervix is ready so doesnt often end in a c section. I have heard from friends though that it can be more intense pain as there is less time between contractions but I don't know how true this is. One of my friends was induced and had her first baby in 7 hours with only gas and air. I think everyone is different and bodies all react different to labour. Good luck x
