Change to Areolas

Hi ladies,

As you can tell by my user ID we have been TTC since around March (I ambitiously assumed I would catch straight away!) and I am now about 7dpo I think. Not been doing too much science as I was getting a bit bored of it and we had a holiday!

I was getting undressed a couple of days ago and hubby asked me what was wrong with my boobs….I'd noticed it a bit, but as I am in my 2ww Id decided I was imagining things and ignored it. In past cycles I've asked him if anything looks different and he's just grunted…so for him to notice and comment - it must be looking different.

My areola area seems to have grown bigger (they were big anyway!) and gone a lot lighter in colour…..

Am I clinging at straws here or could this be a sign that its worked this time around!? Did any of you notice this in very very early pregnancy? I've read about the colour getting darker and boobs getting bigger but not much about the areolae getting bigger.

We have just had some prelim testing done at Docs who has now referred us to a specialist, so this would be just amazing if we had caught on before all that bother!

Any thoughts would be appreciated! thanks in advance

Some people have nipple changes (in various forms). Personally I never have, I just had incredibly tender boobs.

Have you got any ICs in the house? Sometimes they can show up as early as 7/8dpo - I had faint bfps at 7 dpo with both this pregnancy and my first. The only way to know for sure is to test really.

Perhaps wait a few days if you can't face a negative though x

    Thanks Mrs Hunt.

I'm going to leave it to test as I can't face another negative and I'm a world expert at symptom spotting….just this one hubby spotted too!

    Will keep you updated
