*** TFI Friday 3rd Tri ***

Morning!

I'm so glad it's Friday as it means that I can chill out at the weekend and catch up on some sleep. I slept fairly well last night but just kept waking when I was trying to turn over and not pull a muscle! Girly was really active last night, just before I went  to bed. She was giving me a thoroughly good kicking! It's also scan day today so I get to see her one last time before she's born and I'm really excited about it. Fingers crossed that the placenta has moved though. Off to work again so I've got only 9 days left, eek!

I hope you all have a lovely day!

  • Morning

DS - i hope scan goes well and the placenta has moved.

AFM - As some of you know i had a bit of a scare yesterday as i hadn't felt the baby for a few days, i was monitored at the hospital and hertbeat is fine and baby is moving not as much but it's still active but for some reason i can't feel the kicks anymore, i've got to go and be monitored again this morning so i will update you later.

i don't think i'll get chance to get on over the weekend as i have a pedicure booked for saturday that i got back in october for my birthday! and on sunday we are taking M on a steam train to see father christmas!

So if i don't get on have a good weekend all x

  • DS hope placenta has moved. I wonder what detail you'll see at this stage? Get a pictures!

  • Good luck mrs G. Hopefully baby is just being a little tinker and has found a comfy spot behind your placenta or somewhere cushioned.

AFM Feeling a big neauseas now and again so hoping its not a bug? Yesterday I stayed in the house apart from walking the dog first thing, and it was the first time In weeks my belly hasn't hurt. I really think I should take it easy more often now. (She says getting ready to travel to the inlaws later!) Will get to see my mum this weekend, posting Xmas cards as its officially december so its allowed right? Seein friends for tea Saturday night then home Sunday. Have a good weekend all x

  • DS- hope apt goes ok and placenta has moved!!

Mrs G- hope you feel better today. Perhaps your placentas in an awkward place?! I'm sure baby is fine x

AFM I'm in hospital currently strapped to a CTG and all is fine so far! Hopefully they won't need to see me again for a week. Rained for 5 hours here this morning!! Amazing!

  • MS- hope you feel better soon! I get sickness waves too it's not nice. You need to take it easy xx Christmas cards are good to go!!

  • WS glad all is good. Was it just a follow up after the other day? And since when was rain amazing- mind you in that heat I bet its welcome. Oh I have a dream about you last night (not in a weird way!) I bumped into you in town and you actually called me Missus and refused to call me by my real name...Waaaah!

  • That's funny MS! I promise id call you by your real name! Well I've now got to stay on monitor longer... The on duty doctor has to see me. Not sure what's going on, the nurse is being quiet. I'm so bored!

  • Morning All!

DS - Enjoy scan day. Hope placenta has moved for you. Are you finishing on the 21st too? I've got 15 days, but 2 of them will be nearly lunch by time I go in because of appoinrments and the 21st we only do half day and then go for Christmas lunch.

MrsG - Hope the monitoring goes well this morning. I have my phone to hand today. Your weekend plans sound fab x

Missus S - Keep taking it easy and enjoy your weekend at the inlaws.

WS - Glad all is fine with you. These babies are sent to worry us I'm sure!

AFM - Got today off work for more sewing and labelling and doing a school fete this evening. Glad I'm off as I'm feeling pretty knackered. Not sure how I'm going to get through the next 3 weeks of work, I just hope they go quickly. Arm is so sore after Wednesday's whooping cough jab and feels like there's a big lump on my arm. Is this normal? It didn't hurt at all on Wednesday. Going to ring John Lewis today and pay for our pram which will then be delivered next weekend. Also going to cancel our antenatal classes as we've decided not to go. Should hopefully get on over the weekend, but got my mum coming for the weekend and this is the first time I've seen her since being pregnant so looking forward to that. I also have another school fete tomorrow, so busy busy!

Hi to all lurkers and laters, will try and get back later x

  • Oh no have they not said why? Probably just want a better picture/ pattern. Is H still going to uk for that meeting or staying put after your scare?

  • SC didn't Rizzo's arm swell up a bit after that jab? Im sure its normal. Think the general rule with jabs is anything red and bigger than a 50p to get checked, unless they told you otherwise? Suppose I should ask about that now as its from 28 weeks isn't it?

How come you have seen your mum for a bit- she live away? X

  • It does feel pretty big and is hot and sore, will keep an eye on it. Got a blood test on Monday so if it's still sore then I'll mention it to the nurse. I do vaguely remember Rizzo/Mooey having a sore arm too. Will see what she says if she's on later. Yes it's 28 weeks you can have it from  and then the baby gets it at 8 weeks, but it will help protect the baby until then.

My mum lives in Wales and does not drive, and I live in Cambridgeshire, so the other side of the country.

  • Ah that's gonna be lovely! She'll be made up to see your bump. My mum nearly cried when she felt boy kicking on my tummy hah!

  • Morning all

Ds - hope the placenta has moved and Yey to work countdown

Mrs g - hope all goes well this morn, I've been in twice for monitoring so sounds like we both have tinkers

Missuss - you do need to take it easy more! I'm getting sickness now too, have for a couple weeks and its not great but think normal. Enjoy tone with your mum

Ws - hope you don't have to stay much longer

Tsc - enjoy your day off and the fetes. Will be nice for you to see your mum and for her to see the bump!

AFM - in work in the office today for first time in over a week and I'm exhausted already! I'm not even there yet! Paid for our pram yest and arranged delivery for the 10th all seeming v real now! 10 days left in work for me, I finish on 14th :)

  • Tsc - my arm was sore and had a lump for about a week after jab

  • LM and SC what prams you getting? I love a bit of pram porn

  • Morning all, a quickie from me as S is crawling all over the keyboard. Hope you're all OK xx

I woke up at 1am with a real pressure-pain low, low down and thought things were going to kick off it was so sore. I managed to get back to sleep but at 2am I woke again to the same pressure pain, which made me sit up and then stand up to try and ease it.

I hoped things would kick off but here I am still! There were no waves of pain, just a constant throb, I half expected my waters to go. Do you think maybe it was just baby moving further down/engaging?

  • I have no idea but it sounds hopeful! I bet things are starting to get ready! How exciting!

  • Missus - I think she's hoping she'll feel a kick, but with baby not all that active and most of the goings on away from the surface, I just hope she's not disappointed. Baby doesn't seem to like performing to demand!

LM - Enjoy countdown to pram day and last day of work. Hope your day goes fast. Not glad your arm hurt too, but makes me feel better knowing that it's normal!

  • Missus S - We're getting the iCandy Peach jogger in cranberry.

NN - Sending you baby out vibes, sounds like baby might be getting into position. Lots of walking and bouncing might get things moving. You could be the first MD baby x

  • Just quickly- heading home. Everything is fine. Stupid nurse thought a BH was a potential contraction so I had to be monitored for more... Grrr wasted morning!
