***Wed 3rd Tri***

Blimey, haven't started one of these in a while!

I'm off work for three days so thinking about what we are going to do with them.  Have MW this morning and then a completely open day.  It's meant to rain all day so it might mean soft play later.  I dropped my phone two days ago and cracked the screen so have new one being delivered this morning.

Didn't sleep well last night, woke up feeling really really sick and then on top of that the baby was doing somersaults and I don't know how I managed not to be sick Ick!

I am hoping the MW will be able to tell me which way the baby is laying as it's either been transverse or breech the whole pregnancy.  I know there is plenty of time for him to move but it would be good to know if he's turned already.

Hope everyone has a nice day,

Nogs

  • Morning Noggin,

Nice to have a few free days :) Sorry you had a bad night's sleep, sometimes the movements make me feel really sick as well, especially if they are big somersaults. Good luck at the midwife - lots of head down vibes for you!

AFM  caught up via text with a friend who I hadn't spoken to for months last night and it turns out she is also expecting (no 2 for her) and due a week after me! Another friend of mine is going in for a c-section today - it's her first baby after years of IVF so I'm thinking of her lots and can't wait to hear from her. Not much to report baby-wise although seems to be extra wriggly at the moment which is nice, if not a bit distracting at work!

  • Morning Noggin,

Maybe all those somersaults mean they've moved? My mw friend said mine is also transverse but she's not worried and I'm a couple of weeks ahead of you so even if they've not turned there is, as you say, plenty of time.

    Enjoy your days off!

AFM - didn't get on yesterday, had a busy day with our only shower breaking first thing, so spent a lot of the day calling plumbers and sourcing a replacement shower. New shower should arrive this morning and plumber to fit it tomorrow, until then it's baths and washing my hair under a tap!

WFH today which is just as well as I can be here for the shower delivery. Have spent a lost of the last two days on all 4's re-pointing the patio - if that doesn't get this baby head down I don't know what will!

  • Morning!

Have a good few days off work Noggin and hope the midwife goes well.

AFM nothing new to report.  Weather is rubbish so heading somewhere indoors with LO today!

  • Missed you there popcorn, how lovely for both of your friends. There's nothing like the anticipation of a BA, especially when it's been a long time coming.

  • Missed you popcorn and BG

Popcorn - nice to feel so many wriggles!

BG - you're very busy!  Hope the shower arrives - I hate trying to wash my hair under a tap!

  • Morning all... my first official toe-dip into 3rd tri! Exciting to be on the home-stretch, but it also seems such a long way to go. I did scare myself last night after going to stock up on pregnacare (3 for 2 in Tesco...) and realised I'd bought more tablets (90) than I have days to due date. Squeak!

I'll try and catch up properly with personals later Smile given that I should be leaving for work right now and I'm in my dressing gown on the sofa...

  • Mrs 50's - welcome to third tri! If you're planning on bf'ing the extra vitamins won't do you any harm to keep taking postnatally.

  • BG - re-pointing the patio? I'm impressed, I so wouldn't know where to start with that! Hopefully it's done the trick for moving the baby.

    rhian - have a nice day :)

Mrs 50's - hi!! welcome to 3rd tri. It's scary but exciting too, no more trimesters until we meet our little ones!

  • Morning all,

Noggin, hope baby has moved for you.

PC, what lovely baby news from your friends, hope you hear the BA soon!

BG, if baby isn't head down, then it would be a miracle!

Rhian, have a nice dry day.

Mrs 50s, welcome to 3rd tri!

AFM, weather is grim here too, Joshua has the dentist this morning and we have a few errands to run but that's about it for today. Baby is very wriggly this morning which is nice.

  • Morning all!

Noggin - you have ages for baby to turn, so I wouldn't worry top much yet xx

popcorn - it's great when you have friends due around a similar time. I have a friend on #1 the week before me, and another on#2 which is 2 weeks after!

BG - broken shower is rubbish, but at least it will be sorted soon. Washing hair with a jug is rubbish as it never feels properly 'clean' when I do it!

R - hopefully wherever you go day wont be too busy. Soft play on  a rainy day is my idea of hell!

Mrs 50s - welcome. Good to have some newbies after the flurry of BA's last week. I took pregnacare for at least 6/7 months after my son was born as I was BF. however this time I just couldn't face the taste of them so I have Sanatogen instead.

AFM - the toddler-free days continue! He is having a whale of a time and has only mentioned me/us twice. Plans are for them to come back Friday afternoon. Amazing.

After that huge breakfast yesterday I did hardly anything as I felt so full. I casually wandered round town, read 2(!) crappy gossip magazines on the sofa, took the dog fr a walk with my hubby and then we went for a massive curry (more food!) with my bestie and my cousin. Must crack on with sorting and tidying today so I can justify going shopping tomorrow.

Baby a-ok. Certainly got a good wiggle on after the curry!

  • Ooh hello Margot - sorry you have bad weather too. Are you in the East?

  • Well I don't really know what I'm doing past 20 minutes of googling and you tubing. I'm enjoying it though, kind of therapeutic!

  • South east IDC, meant to be gorgeous tomorrow though!

  • MiL is in Kent as she said the bad weather was en route yesterday

  • Bubs is head down - hurrah!

  • Good morning ladies,

Noggin – hope the mw goes well today. Enjoy your time off and yay for baby being head down!!

Popcorn – rather exciting for you and your friends having babies so close together.

Bridget – hope the shower arrives soon, washing hair under the tap isn’t the easiest. Fingers crossed all that work has turned baby.

Rhian – hope you have a good day.

Mrs 50s – welcome to 3rd tri, that’s a very strange thought buying more pregnacare than needed. But just means it won’t be too long until you meet your baby!

Margot – hope dentist goes well and you enjoy the rest of the day.

IDC – glad he’s having a great time! You deserve a day like yesterday every now and again, especially while you’re child free.

AFM – rubbish night sleep, I ended up getting up at 5.30, I have been back to bed because I’ve been exhausted. Otherwise not much to report, baby has been very wriggly since yesterday. It’s our first wedding anniversary on the 11th, so I’m determined to try and get H’s present finished soon – it’s just taking forever at the moment! I decided to make an atlas colouring book, so he can colour the countries we have visited together, but working at the computer starts to get uncomfortable very quickly.

**Baby out vibes to all those who need/want them**

  • Morning all.

Noggin - glad baby has moved.

Popcorn - nice to have someone in the same boat as you.

BG - hope all that work gets baby in right position and your shower comes today

Rhian - hope you do something nice with your day.

    Mrs50 - welcome to 3rd tri x

Margot - hope the rain doesn't ruin your day.

IDC - glad your toddler is having a good time.

Sapphire - hope you get your gift finished. Sounds lovely.

Afm - thought labour was starting last night. Had loads of pains. I even started timing them but I fell asleep and woke up really uncomfortable. But no baby. Think my bump has dropped too. Bet this one will be late too. I hate this waiting game.

  • Afternoon all, oh dear I should really try and get on here earlier!

Noggin, hope the mw went well and you've found something to do today!

Poporn, hope all goes well for your ivf friend

BG, Hope you get the shower sorted. I would hate to be without one, I'm just not a bath person. Hope baby is head down after all that hard work!

Rhian, hope the babies are well

50s, welcome to third tri! It's scary in here!!

Margot, glad baby is wiggly. One less thing to worry about.

IDC, your toddler-free time sounds ace. Glad you're enjoying it

AFM - Was on v late yesterday. Had a sweep at mw yesterday but don't think she was hopeful for any action as a result. I've had backache and woke up with period-type cramps, but continuous, not contractions. No idea if that's a pre-labour thing or not. I'll get another sweep next Tuesday and am more hopeful for that. Today my parents are taking me out to lunch, but no other plans. Maybe a nap this afternoon and have some ripe bananas so might make a banana loaf x

  • Sorry - missed the 2nd page!

Sapphire, sorry you slept badly. Sounds like a very creative pressie for your H!

Daisy, hope the pains materialise into something sooner rather than later x

  • Thanks PW. But you're first x
