I know a Felix who is a girl and although I was a bit dubious, it really suits her and she has a pretty, girly middle name (daisy) to balance it. Perhaps if you did this, offset with a really feminine middle name? Or gave her James as a middle name?

Funnily enough I've met a woman called John. She was middle aged so it wasn't a modern fad. I think her father just liked the name. She stuck with it but spent her whole time correcting people.
I also know someone called Lesley who changed it to her middle name of Jane as soon as she could because she was constantly called 'Les' by people.
