is this normal? 38 weeks pregnant and loads of cervical mucus

I'm currently 38 weeks and 3 days pregnant, and lately iv been getting more discharge then normal to the point were my pants are soaking. Everyone that iv asked about it says its not the mucus plug as I'm not getting any blood and I was just wondering if anyone else has had this before.

Is it definitely discharge? Not your waters leaking? Or (sorry to say it) pee? (As baby is so big & pressing on your bladder, peeing yourself a little bit is pretty normal!
If it is discharge, does it have a smell? If it smells it could be an infection.
in any case I would definitely talk to your midwife about it so it can get checked out properly.
