Different types of tens?!?!?

Hi ladies,

Tens machine question again!

When they were advertised at Lloyds for ??9.99, it said in the small print at bottom of screen that they were not suitable during labour, so was just wondering is there different types of tens for labour and general pains?

Because theres one in the Kleeneze book for ??30 and looking around they are about that price to rent so was thinking of just buying one, do you think it would be suitable?

thanks

  • if it was suitable to use during labour/pregnancy it would say so - i think the main differnece is that the tens to use in labour have a boost button for every time you have a contraction and the other ones don't so they are used for just treating ordinary pain.
i bought mine on a sale a few years ago from
http://www.babycaretens.com/. i decided to buy because i didn't plan on just having 1 baby and i thought if i hired one each time it would cost more than just to buy one.
