heartbeat-galloping horse or train???

Hey everyone

Just trying to remember what the old wives tale is. If the heartbeat sounds like a galloping horse or a runnaway train it means its either a boy or a girl.

Which way round is it?

    Thats what i thought, ive got 2 boys and im sure they were both trains. Heard babys heartbeat today and def a train. Oh well just need to wait and see!!!

    My ones varies between horses and train lol and we have a boy in there apparently!! xx

    mine can sound like both, they are very similar. Not sure how true this theory is, ithink more like a horse but then i picture a trainand its sounds like a train too! lol

    Mine sounds like both too. Like horse if I find hb properly. Like train if I am hearing it more through placenta.

    My doctor told me that the hb sounds like a horse and the placenta sounds like a train.. I asked him about this cause I was hearing both.

    mine sounds lyk a horse and iv been told boy also heartbeat 168/170 going for a second scan b.c aint 100% sure tho ! X
