has any1 experienced 'cervical funneling'?

sorrry to gatecrash from baby forum but...............During my pregnancy at my 20 week scan the sonographer noticed 'Cervical funneling' which meant my cervix was opening and closing when it should stay sealed till labour! and this could cause late miscarriage. At the time I was distraught with worry and had to go for internal vaginal scans to check on things every two weeks till about 32 weeks gone. Luckily all was fine. However, as thoughts of baby number two enter my thoughts I am worrying that this cervical funneling may occur again......... does anyone know whether its a one off thing or will it affect all future pregnancies if its happened with the first one?
