Mebeverine during pregnancy

Hi,
I am 31 weeks pregnant, I was diagnosed with IBS during my pregnancy and the doctor prescribed me mebeverine. He said there's no research that it would harm baby and I needed to take it due to the severity of my symptoms.
I've been taking it for months daily but just googled it out of interest and everyone is saying I shouldn't be taking it.
I'm stupidly worried about it and got myself in a right state that I've been taking it throughout pregnancy under doc advice but it's not actually safe to be taking and I will have harmed my baby.
Has anyone else had any dealings with mebeverine and taking it during pregnancy and has it caused any issues for you?
