  • Hi Bec & Bump, I know how you feel, sometimes employers aren't very understanding. I started a temp job (it only lasted a few weeks) when I was 15 weeks pregnant, I had to be on my feet 8 hours a day with only a half hour break. The job also involved bending down and heavy lifting, which the manager said she'd help me with, but in the end I just felt too awkward to ask and she was so busy and didn't seem inclined to. Even when I was lifting something heavy, she didn't stop me. You've got to stand up for your rights because it is hard...Even if ur boss has kids I guess no-one remembers how tiring it is all the time, especially in the first 12 weeks.
  • yeah that's exactly what i thought, thanks for clarifying!!
