Working out the babys sex???

  there's tons of old wives tales about how u can tell but none of them are accurate...we could actually tell with my cousin as when she was having her boys she put weight on all over her body but with her little girl she just got a bump and didn't put any other weight on but this could have just been a coincidence! x

  i asked my midwife when i was pregnant with my LO as they didnt tell you at the scans then and she was right. she listened to her heartbeat. i know everyone carries differently but my bump was small and high and my LO was early and over 8lb! there are lots of oldwives tales but i dont know any of them im afraid

  Ah, I hate to mess things up but with my son I was all bump, no extra weight anywhere else, and I'm the same again and I'm having another boy! xx

  hmmm can't say i've thought my lo's heartbeat sounds like a train altho they're convinced he's got a mobile phone in there cuz when they check it the machine makes that mobile phone signal noise lol! sorry...that doesnt help lol! x

  Apparantly boys have a quicker heartbeat than a girl! Although I am living proof that isn't always correct as they told my mum I was a boy from my heartbeat before I as born!!

  Sorry sneaked over from ttc....the one I love, and has always been accurate when done on friends, is the wedding ring on a piece of string/thread!
  
  It can be a ring you wear a lot, and has to be gold. Held over bump it goes in a circle for girl, and back and forth for boy.
  
  Worked on my 2 best friends, and got all pregnancies for a woman at work (years ago) including her termination and, mc's, and 3 kids. xx

  ive carried the same thru all pregnancies all bump, got 2 girls and a boy on the way.
  
  only difference was with the girls i had really bad sickness and this time ive hardly had any, but am dizzy all the time with this preg and i wasnt with the girls.
  
  i would have been trying to catch a glimpse myself at the scan, obviously wit a boy u see his bits and if its a girl there is 3 white lines, was looking out for them on last scan wen she told me it was a boy lol
