Hope that worked or i'm posting this to no-one!!

This website has been my saviour, whenever i have any worries or irrational fears i come on here and find other people have them too. Then i don't feel like such a looney!!!

    I thought you might ask that! I can't remember but i'll have a search about and see if i can figure out how i did it!

    There's a forum for the month your due as well which is worth a look as everyone will be at similar stage to you.

    Hey again

    Right for your ticker thing go to www.baby-gaga.com, click on to pregnancy ticker, chose the design you want and put your info in then when it gives you a few codes use the bb one. Highlight and copy the whole thing then paste it into a word document and save it onto your desktop. Everytime you put a post on here you've got to paste it onto the bottom of your post.

    Thats too complicated lol. Im just talking to joanna and she said she quit work and still gets paid mat of ??120 a week? She said its from goverment because if you dont go back after mat leave they make u pay it all back? Also have you heard anything about a maternity grant of ??500 to spend on a pushchair and things or is that just for single mothers? xx

    Lol!

    How long had she been working at the place? It could be maternity allowance which is different from maternity pay. I'm sure it says in the company handbook that even if we leave it doesn't affect our mat pay and we don't have to pay it back. Just been downstairs to check and this is what it says; 'If you do not intend to return to work you will still be paid for a total of 39 weeks Statutory Maternity Pay' So nowt to worry about there.

    I think the ??500 is a grant for people with a lower income but i'm not too sure.

    Okey dokes. Glad nothing to worry about then. My mat jeans have just been delivered! There well comfy hehe. Yeah i think its only for people with low income so we will miss out on it then! We should try and do lunch one day this week? If im still off! Im paranoid my wages are going to be mega low! Jees. x

    Honestly don't worry, they should just be your normal monthly wage less one weeks pay. I was totally shocked at mine given that i hadn't read the handbook so wasn't aware that we get full pay for the first 4 weeks! I thought they'd made a mistake!!!

    Glad your mat jeans are comfy, i went onto the website but they'd sold out in my size, booooo!

    Defo to lunch, any day is good for me. Oooh we could have a little mooch about a couple of shops too if you feel up to it? xxx

    Where shall we go for lunch? Any day for me wed will be good if im off still. I dont know what to say to the doc i feel like the mw an doc think im making it up! Aswell as r! Bah. Im addicted to this site now hehe. Yeah i only got one pair of jeans when i ordered two! Bum. Im still in my pj's whats the point in getting ready just yet. I could really get used to this! xx

    Same here, any day at all. Nothing planned all week! Sad eh?! Oooh i dunno, anywhere really, there are too many nice places to choose from when you don't get the chance to go out very often!

    Dont worry about the doc's/mw. You'll be fine. You know how you feel and that your not making it up and so do they or they wouldn't have issued you with 2 sicknotes already. What you like eh, stop worrying!!!

    It's totally addictive isn't it! I come on here every day if i get the chance and i feel like i might be missing something if i can't get on it! Far too addictive!

    At least you've got one pair of mat jeans, better than nothing. You can wear them to shop for another pair!!! Ditto to the pj's thing. I'm only gonna get dressed if i feel the need for a bar of chocolate later! .................. Oh no, just noticed something on my top of my pj's, no joke i've either got a leaky nipple or i've drooled and not realised it! I think i'm coming out in sympathy symptoms!!!
