What is happening to me!!!! UPDATE

hey ladies, hope you are all well.
I am 32+3 and since last night have been suffering with shooting pains across the bottom of my bump and my back. it feels like period like pains but shooting across my bump then round to my back.
Does anyone know what this could be?

UPDATE -
WELL LADIES WENT TO THE MW YESTERDAY, ALTHOUGH ON THE WAY I FELT LIKE I WAS LEAKING A BIT! SO EXPLAINED MY PAINS ETC TO MW WHO SENT ME STRAIGHT TO HOSPITAL. THEY DONE A TRACE OF LO WHO APP IS VERY HAPPY WHERE HE/SHE IS THEN DONE AN INTERNAL, WHICH ALL SEEMED NORMAL TOO.
SO NOW IT IS JUST A WAITING GAME LOL

It sounds like Braxton Hicks, practise contractions, nothing to worry about. If you are really worried ring your midwife, the hospital or NHS Direct.

it feels different to BH though, I am at the MW this afternoon so I will run it past her, although any time I ask her questions she doesnt seem to listen and just wants me out ASAP.

cud be your baby pressing on a nerve, that causes shooting pains and also when your babys head is down it pushes on nerves and muscles in the pelvis which feels like a 'shock'

I've been getting these kinda pains but I think mine are more like Braxton Hicks!!
